The Citation Mustang is where many charter journeys begin: a genuine twinjet — Garmin glass, a 41,000-foot ceiling, known-icing certified — scaled to the missions most people actually fly. Among the first of the very light jets and comfortably the most enduring, it outlived its rivals across a twelve-year, 479-aircraft production run.

The honest brief: four in the club cabin, soft bags in a generous 57-cubic-foot hold, and sectors under about ninety minutes — there is no enclosed lavatory, and we say so up front. Within that envelope, nothing matches its economy.
