Citation CJ4
The fastest and largest CJ — the Phenom 300E's direct rival, with skylights and trans-Tasman legs.
The top of the light-jet class — trans-Tasman reach, single-pilot economics, real AU presence.
The CJ4 is the CJ family at maximum: a stretched fuselage on a moderately swept wing borrowed from the Sovereign programme, 451 knots of cruise — the fastest of the line — and 2,165 nautical miles of headline range that make the Tasman a comfortable crossing. The Gen2 added its distinctive CoolView skylights; the Gen3, arriving 2026, launches Garmin's G3000 Prime with Emergency Autoland.
It is the direct rival to the Phenom 300E, and Australia's charter market treats it accordingly — genuinely operated locally, including VIP and aeromedical configurations, at the top of the light-jet class.

Frequently asked
Can a CJ4 cross the Tasman?
Comfortably — Sydney–Auckland at 1,165 nautical miles and Melbourne–Queenstown both sit well inside its range with a full cabin. Sydney–Perth works eastbound with a light load; westbound plans a fuel stop, and we say so.
CJ4 or Phenom 300E — how do I choose?
They are the class's direct rivals. The Phenom answers with a flat floor, bigger windows and a touch more speed; the CJ4 counters with skylights, the larger baggage hold and its 2,165-mile headline range. Availability on your dates usually decides it, and we propose whichever serves the brief.
How many passengers does a CJ4 carry?
Up to ten occupants, with seven or eight the typical executive fit — a club four, two aft singles, forward side seating options and a belted flushing lavatory with vanity.
