Learjet 75 — Bombardier

Bombardier · Super-light jet

Learjet 75

The last Learjet — G5000 glass, Learjet 85 winglets, and the final word in a sixty-year story.

The Learjet finale — eight aboard, 51,000 feet, and a pedigree nothing newer can buy.

The Learjet 75 closed the most famous name in private aviation: the 45 airframe refined with canted winglets from the Learjet 85 programme, FADEC engines and Garmin's G5000 touchscreen deck, still flying its eight-seat flat-floor club to the class's unique 51,000-foot ceiling. The Liberty variant added a six-seat Executive Suite behind a pocket door — a first at this size, by Bombardier's own claim.

The final Learjet ever built — a 75 Liberty — delivered in March 2022, ending roughly three thousand airframes across six decades. That makes every 75 both a working aircraft and a piece of the story: the marque's last and most polished form, chartered today from fleets positioned beyond Australia.

Frequently asked

What made the Learjet 75 special?

It was the marque perfected and concluded: Garmin G5000 glass, winglets from the Learjet 85 programme, and the class's only 51,000-foot ceiling — with the Liberty adding a six-seat Executive Suite behind the first pocket door at this size, per Bombardier. The last Learjet ever built was a 75, delivered in 2022.

Learjet 75 or Phenom 300E?

The 75 answers with ramp presence, a flat-floor eight-seat club and altitude capability; the Phenom with newer production, operating economics and market depth. Both cross the Tasman with ease — the choice is usually heart against spreadsheet, and we price both honestly.

Can I charter a Learjet 75 in Australia?

The type flies charter abroad rather than from local bases, so sectors here are arranged with positioning stated plainly — or we propose the locally-based Learjet 45 and Phenom 300E as the bookable alternatives.
