The Gulfstream IV established the formula every Gulfstream since has refined: a wide oval-windowed cabin, an all-new wing, and range that rewrote expectations — proven with twenty-two westbound round-the-world records in 1987, before most of the fleet had delivered. Around five hundred GIV and GIV-SP airframes were built across fifteen years.
Today it is the most approachable true Gulfstream cabin in existence — fourteen seats, 4,000-plus-mile legs, and a presence on the ramp that never aged — for charterers who value the marque more than the model year.
