The Global 8000 is Bombardier's new benchmark, certified through late 2025 as the fastest business jet in service — Mach 0.95 maximum, the swiftest civil aircraft since Concorde, and an airframe that exceeded Mach 1 in test dives on the way there. Its four true living spaces and dedicated crew suite carry over from the 7500, now paired with 8,000 nautical miles of range and a cabin that rides at just 2,691 feet at 41,000.

Entering service in December 2025, retail examples remain in first-owner hands — but 8000-standard capability is arriving faster than the order book suggests, because every Global 7500 can be upgraded in about a week, and the world's largest floating fleet is converting its entire 7500 stable through 2026.

How fast is the Global 8000?

Certified to Mach 0.94-plus — the fastest business jet in service and the swiftest civil aircraft since Concorde. During flight testing the programme exceeded Mach 1 in a controlled dive. In practice it crosses at Mach 0.90 to 0.92 where others settle for 0.85, returning real hours on the longest sectors.

Can the Global 8000 fly Sydney to Los Angeles non-stop?

Comfortably, in both directions — with 8,000 nautical miles of range, the westbound leg that defeats lesser aircraft retains around 1,500 miles of still-air margin. Sydney–Dubai is routine; Perth–London is achievable in favourable conditions, planned honestly.

Can I charter a Global 8000?

Ad-hoc retail charter barely exists yet — first deliveries only began in December 2025. The practical route is programme access: the largest floating fleet is upgrading its eighteen Global 7500s to 8000 standard through 2026. We arrange both paths, and the 7500 remains the charterable sibling with the same four-suite cabin.
