Cessna · Super-midsize jet
Citation Sovereign+
The Sovereign perfected — winglets, Garmin G5000 and 3,200 miles, off a class-leading 3,530 feet.
The definitive Sovereign — full-cabin transcontinentals and Bali legs, short strips included.
The Sovereign+ took the type's formula and stretched every axis: winglets and PW306D engines pushing ferry range to 3,200 nautical miles, the Garmin G5000 touchscreen deck with autothrottle — shared with the Latitude that followed — and the class-leading take-off run trimmed to 3,530 feet, Textron's own boast.
Ninety-four were built through 2021, making it the youngest of the pre-owned Sovereigns: Sydney–Perth in both directions with a full cabin, Bali from the southern capitals, and the same twelve-seat, big-luggage practicality that makes the type Australia's quiet super-midsize workhorse.

Frequently asked
What did the Sovereign+ improve?
Winglets and uprated PW306D engines lifted ferry range to 3,200 nautical miles, the Garmin G5000 deck brought touchscreens and autothrottle, and the take-off run shortened to a class-leading 3,530 feet — the Sovereign's virtues, each sharpened.
Can it fly Sydney–Perth with a full cabin?
In both directions — the mission that stretches lesser types is the Sovereign+'s bread and butter, with Bali from Melbourne or Sydney equally comfortable. Auckland–Perth direct is the one we decline to advertise; winds make it dishonest.
How does it compare with the Citation Latitude?
It shares the Latitude's cockpit family and beats it on baggage, at pre-owned figures the newer type cannot match — which is precisely its market: Latitude-adjacent capability, priced a generation kinder.
